Polito considers that it's time to settle down since he is of legal age, already has a steady job and a little piece of land. So he goes and declares his love for the woman he has been in love with all his life: His best friend's mom. The lady laughs at the naive boy, but she gives him a consolation prize for having had the balls to try it.
